GWEC’s APAC Wind Energy Summit 2024 concludes

That’s a wrap for the APAC Wind Energy Summit in Korea (and the 100 year snowstorm!). It was good to see governments, developers, investors and suppliers engaging frankly on the key industry issues and how to progress them.

Our co-founder and World Bank advisor Maya Malik moderated the government panel “Spotlight on emerging offshore wind markets in APAC: Australia, Vietnam, Philippines and India” and presented at the launch of the World Bank Group’s latest paper “The Strategic Value of Community Benefits in Offshore Wind Development”, which can be downloaded here https://www.esmap.org/ESMAP-Offshore-Wind-Community-Benefits.

The summit will be held nice and close next year in our home town Melbourne, Australia!
