KIMAenergy talks supply chains at WA Clean Energy Forum
Great to be in Perth yesterday talking about sustainable supply chains at Clean Energy Council’s WA Clean Energy Forum. Our co-founder Maya Malik presented ‘Offshore wind – A deep dive into local content opportunities in Australia’ and participated in the panel ‘Securing Sustainable Supply Chains’.
Across the sessions, it was very interesting to learn about:
Supply chain co-location opportunities around critical minerals and strategic materials. Green steel presents an obvious and sizable opportunity for Australia.
Western Power's commitment to proactively upgrade grid networks in WA to support the build out of renewables
The journey and lessons learned from a trial to decommission gas and 100% electrify the town of Esperance.
See you in Perth again soon 😊 ✌
