Great to be in Perth yesterday talking about sustainable supply chains at Clean Energy Council’s WA Clean Energy Forum. Our co-founder Maya Malik presented ‘Offshore wind – A deep dive into local content opportunities in Australia’ and participated in the panel ‘Securing Sustainable Supply Chains’.

Across the sessions, it was very interesting to learn about:

  • Supply chain co-location opportunities around critical minerals and strategic materials. Green steel presents an obvious and sizable opportunity for Australia.

  • Western Power's commitment to proactively upgrade grid networks in WA to support the build out of renewables

  • The journey and lessons learned from a trial to decommission gas and 100% electrify the town of Esperance.
